Yurtle the Turtle

Yurtle the Turtle is a female red eared slider turtle.  Our class had the choice to swap our frogs (Belle and Yoda) to a turtle from South Bernadettes named Yurtle. Our class loved the idea and so we had to write letters to St Bernadettes to persuade them to swap the turtle for our frogs. We had to list a lot of things to make sure they were fully persuaded. We also had to talk about how we were going to take care of Yurtle, for example, we had to say that we have someone who will feed her, take her for walks and much more.  They said they loved how people said that when you stay quiet the frogs make fart sounds.  We are enjoying having Yurtle because we are currently learning about her.
Here are some pictures of Yurtle.
