How to Screenshot

Screenshotting.

You might be wondering why a picture of my last post is on this post.

Well, today I am going to teach you how to screenshot.

The first key you must have to screenshot, is the Control key or, the Ctrl key.  The second key is Shift.  The third key is the Switch Window button.  If you don't know what this button is, then press Ctrl + Alt + Then the ? button.  That is the tutorial for if you want a certain part of the screen to be screenshotted, but if you want to screenshot the whole screen, then you have to press: Ctrl + Switch window button.

W.A.L.T.: Translate and Rotate.

This week I have been learning about translating and rotating,  It is a really fun and cool topic.

W.A.L.T: Create Nets For 3D Shapes

This term I have started learning about Geometry.  We started by naming shapes and 3D shapes, then we named how many corners, edges and faces those shapes had, but we were put in different groups of course, so there are Diamonds, Circles and Stars.  I was put in Diamonds, Diamonds had to work on symmetry lines in week 1.  Squares and Circles didn't.  This week Squares and Circles are creating their D.L.O's for Edges Faces and Corners.  We, the Diamonds, have to work on 3D nets and we have to put at least 3 3D shape nets in our D.L.O, here it is.

Canterbury Swim School

Canterbury Swim School Lessons.

On Monday the 16th of October, we went to Canterbury Swim School for swimming lessons.  My instructor is Matthew, and I am in lane number 1.  It was really an experience because we got to do all kinds of tricks, we only have one more week, but I think I can make it work better.  

My next step is probably to backstroke better, do streamline better, do backwards streamline better and get better at tumble turns.  I think I was pretty good at all the basic stuff, but I think I could get better at all of the basic things like, freestyle and bubble breathing. 

 I like swimming lessons because first you start with the basics then you start using the more hard and unusual techniques.  This was a good first week because it was basically just us getting used to this timetable and our swimming lessons,  I think it was easy to remember all the things that we learnt in the first week because they were easy things like bubble breathing and freestyle.

We are focusing on interacting online in a kind, positive and helpful way.

Netiquette are the rules of behaviour that apply when communicating online. The word Netiquette comes from the the words net and etiquette. Etiquette are the rules of behaviour considered to be good manners.

What Is Important To Characters In A Book?

Anthony, Dominique and I have been making a google drawing of important things in the story, the things are important to the characters in the story because they are all they need to survive.  For example, Uncle Henricks Boat, or the kitten that Kirsti finds, or the star of David which is important to Ellen.  We have worked hard on this and it has taken us a few days, It was really fun creating the images and we think it was worth the time and effort because we think it looks amazing at the end.

Partly Cloudy

One Day, I was drained of my love, and half of my powers, that day was the most horrible, worst day ever, but that’s another story, this is the story of where I gained my love, from a Stork named Peck.  I was looking to see if Peck was coming back, I saw him!  Yay, he was coming back, my only friend, and my best one.  I had grabbed him and I cuddled him and cuddled him.  I, sometimes am known as the Dark, Horrible, Grey cloud, but I think of myself as special, because I hate thinking about myself as mean.  But it’s all my fault, it’s because the evil dark queen wanted to take all the clouds power of cuteness away, so she tried, but she failed, as soon as I knew she was trying to drain all of our power, I made a cloudy wall that was protecting the other clouds from being drained, that was the mistake I made, and no one thanked me.  Back to the present, I tried my best to make something so cute that it would change other cloud’s perspectives, and make them like us again, and allow us into the cloud kingdom, but I’m stuck down here in the dark cloud kingdom, I don’t want to be, but I am, and I have to deal with it.

I made something that looks cute and cuddly as a cloud, but not when it’s alive, a crocodile!  It’s so adorable but it’s not so cuddly. As soon as I made it, Peck looked so worried, but I see the love that it gives.  Peck took it, and flew away, when he came back he wasn’t looking the same, hmph, what is it, oh I get it!  He lost a few feathers!  Oh, well, they’ll grow back.   I next tried to make a cute little animal, but I made a Bighorn Sheep, It is so cuddly and adorable!  But it is kind of dangerous, oh no! The Bighorn Sheep headbutted Peck!  What, why is he looking at one of the ‘nice’ clouds called Celestia.  He looks like he might leave me, No!  I can not ever think that would happen, he has stuck with me for a very long time.  Peck has already gone with the Bighorn Sheep, so I should make an animal while he comes back.  

I’m gonna try make something so dangerous that Karma will turn it into something cute!  Woo hoo!  I am so smart, I should make a giant snail!  Or a tiny Shark!  Ooh, I got it!  A Porcupine!  Here we go, Peck, I made a Porcupine for you!  Here you go.  Oh, Karma didn’t do it’s thing, maybe if I try once more, but first I have to wait for Peck to come back.  I made a cloud shape of a Shark!  When I make it alive it will be so cute!  I see Peck coming back!  I hope he loves it!  I’ll show him the cloud, Here you go Peck!  Wha.. What… Why… I feel… Betrayed… I CAN NEVER FORGIVE HIM, HE LEFT ME WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE!  GRR, TAKE THIS EARTH, THIS IS ALL MY FAULT! This is all my fault… I shouldn’t take it out on Earth, or the cloud kingdom.  Waaaaaaahh.  Wait, I see Peck coming back with a bag!  What could be inside?  I don’t know, but I will have to find out.

Peck opened the bag, and inside is armor for him to wear!  It is such a perfect idea, that I need to make an animal to see if it works.  Okay, I should just hurry because it doesn’t matter which animal I make because it will still be dangerous.  Ooh, I made an eel, Peck can hold it, wait, no it’s an electric eel.  Hahah, this is the best day of my life.
