Today we had Tane Mahuta and Kiwi Kaha. My class had Kiwi Kaha first before other classes and it was awesome.
In Kiwi Kaha, we had to sit at five different tables (to be sorted into five different groups) and as a group, we had to do a quiz where one person runs up to the table and Andre checks the answer. The group I was in (Me, Jamie, Jodecy, Mitchell and Keghan)came first! We didn't have time to do an energizer, but in the end, we got full points which means that we will be going to the Kiwi Kaha party at the end of the term!
In Kiwi Kaha, I enjoyed working with my group to do our best and, even though we got some wrong, we kept trying.
I had Tane Mahuta in the second half of period 2, period 3, and period 4. In period 2 and 3, I did some weeding around the plants that we have already planted and, I did some weeding in an area that we are about to plant, I also helped with getting some shrubs out of the ground in front of the outside classroom.
I enjoyed getting the shrubs out of the ground because I got my hands dirty and, it was challenging because it took muscles to shorten it first so we could dig it up.
