  • Each paragraph focuses on aspects of the topic.
  • A general statement about the topic usually rounds off the report.

The Amazing Global Girl And Super Duffy!

On Monday the 13th of March, Duffy Theatre came to Hornby Primary School and performed a show on a rainy day.  I was excited to see what the show was.

The show started with Duffy reading a book, then a superhero name Global girl came!  Global girl helps the world from pollution and makes the world a better place!  Global girl couldn’t read, but Duffy helped her read.  Global girl grabbed a guitar and started strumming and singing, what she sung was “We can work together, we can make the earth better, we can change, we can change, we can change”.

Global girl had great ideas to help the world, they were, walk places instead of taking a bus or driving, plant grass seeds and saplings in the desert, turn lights off when you leave a room and take short showers. But global girl kept on stuffing up and she messed up the grass seeds to plant in the desert and instead plants rose seeds in the desert, she was also supposed to push a raining cloud out of Austria but instead pushed one out of Australia!

Duffy gets a cape from Global girl and they work together to make clouds! Global girl’s boss tells Duffy to go to another world and help that world read without making them have pollution.  After that we got to ask them some questions and then we went back to our classes.  I really enjoyed it.  The thing I learnt was that the world is getting too much pollution.
The end.
