Athletics Day!!!

Yesterday was athletics day.  On athletics day we have to do 6 events.  The events are, Discuss, Shot put, Long Distance, High Jump, Long Jump and Sprints.  We had to do Sprints before lunch time, and when I did Sprints I came second to last.  After lunch time we started the events, first up was Shot put.  I'm not sure which place I came in Shot put but I know it was fun.  

Next thing was Long Distance.  In Long Distance, we had to do four laps around the field but to make sure no one was cheating we had to run across a white line.  I came fourth and I was proud of myself because four is my lucky number.

Next thing was Discuss, in Discuss we had to line up in a line.  It was less than half a minute before it was my turn.  When I was up I threw the Discuss and it wasn't that far, we had to go into different lines after our turn was finished.  I went into the line all the way on the left, and some people went in the line all the way on the right.  When we all had one turn each, the 10 year old boys had to line up again and do it again.  When they were finished it was time to go to the next event, Ms Scott said that we (the 11 year old boys) would have to come to the field at lunch time the next day.

The next thing up was High jump.  At High jump, Mr. Martin had put the bar at 50cm up.  It wasn't that high, we all were able to jump over it.  Next, He put it up to 80 cm.  I was able to jump over it.  Then he put it up to 90 cm and I wasn't able to jump over it.

Next thing is Long jump.  Long jump was the last thing for Athletics day, and I was surprisingly bad at it considering I always jump around all the time.  When I jumped the first time it was a practice jump, but it was probably better than my second jump.  Once I was about to jump for the second time, I thought to myself, 'What do other people do to make them go farther?' I looked at the person going next, it was Lasa, I looked to see if he did anything to make him jump farther.  He didn't, he just jumped and hoped.  So that's what I did, but I got 2.1. most of the other 11 year old boys had a bigger number than me.  I didn't worry about, I was happy that I had fun.

It went pretty good but I mainly felt really happy knowing that my Mum was there to cheer for me.  My favourite part of the day was Long distance because I did four laps without stopping and I came fourth which isn't bad.  Next year I won't be here for athletics but hopefully at the High School there are some sort of fun.

The Mysteries Of The Never Ending Solar System

For the past few weeks I have been collecting exciting information about the solar system and I have created a slideshow about 3 big questions we all would love to know.  I have made it into a slideshow because I wanted it to be more interesting and exciting.  I have added pictures in so it can look better.  Hopefully you like it because I put a lot of work into it.  Here it is, I hope you enjoy it.

Freak The Mighty Tony D. Character Description

The picture below is a character description that I have written about a character from the book Freak the Mighty.  The character is Tony D.,  this character description is a work in progress so it might change later.  The purpose of me showing all of you is so that I can get feedback.  If anyone has any questions or any comments, I would like it if you comment down below because feedback is one thing that I need.  Freak the mighty is written by Rodman Philbrick.  The reason I am reading Freak the mighty is because in my class, I am in literacy group 2 and we get to read novels to make D.L.O's about those novels, last term I read Number the stars by Lois Lowry.

How to Screenshot

You might be wondering why a picture of my last post is on this post.

Well, today I am going to teach you how to screenshot.

The first key you must have to screenshot, is the Control key or, the Ctrl key.  The second key is Shift.  The third key is the Switch Window button.  If you don't know what this button is, then press Ctrl + Alt + Then the ? button.  That is the tutorial for if you want a certain part of the screen to be screenshotted, but if you want to screenshot the whole screen, then you have to press: Ctrl + Switch window button.

W.A.L.T: Create Nets For 3D Shapes

This term I have started learning about Geometry.  We started by naming shapes and 3D shapes, then we named how many corners, edges and faces those shapes had, but we were put in different groups of course, so there are Diamonds, Circles and Stars.  I was put in Diamonds, Diamonds had to work on symmetry lines in week 1.  Squares and Circles didn't.  This week Squares and Circles are creating their D.L.O's for Edges Faces and Corners.  We, the Diamonds, have to work on 3D nets and we have to put at least 3 3D shape nets in our D.L.O, here it is.

Canterbury Swim School

Canterbury Swim School Lessons.

On Monday the 16th of October, we went to Canterbury Swim School for swimming lessons.  My instructor is Matthew, and I am in lane number 1.  It was really an experience because we got to do all kinds of tricks, we only have one more week, but I think I can make it work better.  

My next step is probably to backstroke better, do streamline better, do backwards streamline better and get better at tumble turns.  I think I was pretty good at all the basic stuff, but I think I could get better at all of the basic things like, freestyle and bubble breathing. 

 I like swimming lessons because first you start with the basics then you start using the more hard and unusual techniques.  This was a good first week because it was basically just us getting used to this timetable and our swimming lessons,  I think it was easy to remember all the things that we learnt in the first week because they were easy things like bubble breathing and freestyle. 

How It's Like To Be A Snail In It's Shell.

We are focusing on interacting online in a kind, positive and helpful way.

Netiquette are the rules of behaviour that apply when communicating online. The word Netiquette comes from the the words net and etiquette. Etiquette are the rules of behaviour considered to be good manners.

What Is Important To Characters In A Book?

Anthony, Dominique and I have been making a google drawing of important things in the story, the things are important to the characters in the story because they are all they need to survive.  For example, Uncle Henricks Boat, or the kitten that Kirsti finds, or the star of David which is important to Ellen.  We have worked hard on this and it has taken us a few days, It was really fun creating the images and we think it was worth the time and effort because we think it looks amazing at the end.

Partly Cloudy

One Day, I was drained of my love, and half of my powers, that day was the most horrible, worst day ever, but that’s another story, this is the story of where I gained my love, from a Stork named Peck.  I was looking to see if Peck was coming back, I saw him!  Yay, he was coming back, my only friend, and my best one.  I had grabbed him and I cuddled him and cuddled him.  I, sometimes am known as the Dark, Horrible, Grey cloud, but I think of myself as special, because I hate thinking about myself as mean.  But it’s all my fault, it’s because the evil dark queen wanted to take all the clouds power of cuteness away, so she tried, but she failed, as soon as I knew she was trying to drain all of our power, I made a cloudy wall that was protecting the other clouds from being drained, that was the mistake I made, and no one thanked me.  Back to the present, I tried my best to make something so cute that it would change other cloud’s perspectives, and make them like us again, and allow us into the cloud kingdom, but I’m stuck down here in the dark cloud kingdom, I don’t want to be, but I am, and I have to deal with it.

I made something that looks cute and cuddly as a cloud, but not when it’s alive, a crocodile!  It’s so adorable but it’s not so cuddly. As soon as I made it, Peck looked so worried, but I see the love that it gives.  Peck took it, and flew away, when he came back he wasn’t looking the same, hmph, what is it, oh I get it!  He lost a few feathers!  Oh, well, they’ll grow back.   I next tried to make a cute little animal, but I made a Bighorn Sheep, It is so cuddly and adorable!  But it is kind of dangerous, oh no! The Bighorn Sheep headbutted Peck!  What, why is he looking at one of the ‘nice’ clouds called Celestia.  He looks like he might leave me, No!  I can not ever think that would happen, he has stuck with me for a very long time.  Peck has already gone with the Bighorn Sheep, so I should make an animal while he comes back.  

I’m gonna try make something so dangerous that Karma will turn it into something cute!  Woo hoo!  I am so smart, I should make a giant snail!  Or a tiny Shark!  Ooh, I got it!  A Porcupine!  Here we go, Peck, I made a Porcupine for you!  Here you go.  Oh, Karma didn’t do it’s thing, maybe if I try once more, but first I have to wait for Peck to come back.  I made a cloud shape of a Shark!  When I make it alive it will be so cute!  I see Peck coming back!  I hope he loves it!  I’ll show him the cloud, Here you go Peck!  Wha.. What… Why… I feel… Betrayed… I CAN NEVER FORGIVE HIM, HE LEFT ME WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE!  GRR, TAKE THIS EARTH, THIS IS ALL MY FAULT! This is all my fault… I shouldn’t take it out on Earth, or the cloud kingdom.  Waaaaaaahh.  Wait, I see Peck coming back with a bag!  What could be inside?  I don’t know, but I will have to find out.

Peck opened the bag, and inside is armor for him to wear!  It is such a perfect idea, that I need to make an animal to see if it works.  Okay, I should just hurry because it doesn’t matter which animal I make because it will still be dangerous.  Ooh, I made an eel, Peck can hold it, wait, no it’s an electric eel.  Hahah, this is the best day of my life.

A Logo That Is Half Of Me

It represents me because I think that with friends anything is possible, but without friends, most things are impossible.

Slime Recipe!

We are making slime for our marble day.  Marble day is what we have when we fill our marble jar.  When we behave really well for a session we get a few marbles, when we fill our jar, we get to pick what we want to do for marble day.  This time the class chose Slime, so we are making slime.  I am working with Khaylanie to make this slime.  To make this slime we have found the best recipe that we could, it is online and only needs five things.  To make slime we need to co-operate and use our values such as, Respect, Kindness, Honesty, Excellence and Self-Management.

The Majestic Piano.

I felt it in my soul, bleak and gloomy, depressing music came from beyond the majestic piano, as I struggled to remember my happy thoughts.  A slight flashback came to me as I remember playing this very piano with my wife, now it was an urge and desire to play it all day long. I kept my ring on like it was attached to me, it was mentally, but not physically.  I continued the song and I saw her, I saw my wife, Janice, the love had now continued onto the piano, it was like I had the most energy in the entire world, I could be playing for days at this race!  I knew it was in me, I had to give my energy to someone else, but at this point I didn’t realise what i had done.

I remember my old buddy, Jeremy Schfitzcherry.  I remember what had happened to him, It broke my heart as I remember, because he was just doing what he had to do, fight, I was one of the only ones who had survived the war.  It was like my heart had stopped, but it didn’t, I gained rage and all the power to destroy the other side, but I didn’t because I knew I would have died.  Jeremy and I were hiding behind a brick wall, we knew it was safe because the bricks were solid, and there was no way the other side was knocking the brick wall over, it’s like it was made of steel!  Jeremy strafed left, he shot, and then took a few bullets to the chest, that’s when my wrath of rage started to kick in, but my sadness is what kept me sane, and my sadness kept my insanity inside, not out, luckily.  When that had happened, I bought this piano, I thought that I had a few tricks up my sleeve, that’s why, actually, the real reason was because I thought it would keep me sane, and it did.  

The next thing I remember was passing down my happy thoughts to my son, after the war, because I was so happy I made it through the war. I bought my son a pony stick, y’know, those things people use to pretend they are on a pony?  Yeah, one of those.  The last thing I saw was him playing on one of those.  He has grown up since then, he is as colourful as ever.  I saw him riding it, he came to me and said “Dad, can I please play the piano as well?”

“Sure Bunny.”  I said to my kid who looked like he was about to explode with happiness.  Bunny joined in with me on the piano and we played the piano like there was no tomorrow.

Here is my first ever Voki that I have made.  It is just a silly Voki because I do not mean harm.

The Wonderous, Fabulous Extravaganza.

The whole, performance theme was a retold story of important ages of New Zealand.  My class' performance, was New Zealand music month.  To perform the extravaganza, we went to the high school auditorium, sometimes practised our performance there, and one time, we practised using our costumes.  For my class' performance, I was in the group sway, we had to pretend we were in a ballroom dance.  Here is the song link to Sway by Bic Runga.  Sway - Bic Runga.  The extravaganza was on Wednesday the 30th of August and today, a.k.a Thursday 31st August.

I wore a red patterned shirt, black skinny jeans and black shoes.  At the start I felt really excited that I was performing as Maui, I think I did a good job and everyone else did aswell.  When the time was about at the middle of the extravaganza, I think I did good because that was when my group performed.  At the end I felt like I could have done better because I didn't do the Haka well.  The performance started at 6:30, but ended at 8:45.  I learnt that it takes a lot of time to do something, and it takes time to perfect it.  The other roles in the performance were really cool, such as room 10's, they used rubbish to make really cool costumes to demonstrate that anything that be beautiful, and be happy of what you have.  

I think I did really well on stage because I felt excited, happy and proud of myself.   I think that were awesome because they were doing the right thing and they were brave and courageous. My next step is to practice getting on stage without having an embarrassed smile, because otherwise I will look like I have stage fright but also laughing at the same time.

Number The Stars Novel Retelling

Dominique, Keyana and I have created a slideshow about an important part of a novel called "Number The Stars".  We have done a lot of work on it, to make it really good and we all hope you like it.  It was hard to make at first but then we got the hang of it.  I think I could have done better, what I think I could have done better is, that I could have made it more realistic, but I chose not to push myself.  Dominique and Keyana have helped a lot and we have worked together on all of this.  I have worked really hard to finish this because I had to finish it in my own time.
 For this part of my learning, the WALT is to Retell an important part of the novel that we are currently up to.

I have put into my own words, a narrative from a vimeo video that is called: Vestel - Somalia. I have watched this video about 2-3 times. I have created writing of this video, and I am one of the robots in the story.

The characters are Pirates, Crew Members, The Captain and Robots. I hope you enjoy.

I heard a rubble on the ship, I came out of my box and I flew onto the side of the boat, I saw the beautiful view of the shiny ocean as the sun came up.  I didn’t know what my use was, so I flew around the boat and I saw my fellow robots grabbing humans and they seemed rather weird.  I think, maybe I should check and see if the crew members are okay, I fly around, and I see them tied up, so I untie them.  I should check what my friend is doing.

My friend robot C-136 a.k.a. Greenie, was tripping up humans and catching them.  So I found a human, and I grabbed him with all my fierce grip I had, I gave him to one of my fellow robots as I saw a human trying to escape.  So I came in and I pushed the human into the water, I threw a floating ring into the water with the human because I know they can’t swim properly.  Well, I’m not known as C-137 a.k.a. the Sea Robot for nothing.  I fly to the stern to get more humans, I saw C-150, the newest robot in the bow so I grabbed the human and I held the human up with my tightest grip.  My fellow robots and I threw all of the humans that were dressed like hippies, into the water.  

I looked around the ship and I noticed that the ship needs cleaning, I thought, maybe we should go into our huge boxes now.  I went into my box and was ready for power down.  I felt a modest touch of electricity static and it felt really weird because It felt like I was about to power off now-.

Top Tips For Writing Quality Blog Comments

Comments are a great influencing on conversations.
Start with a compliment.
Add facts that the blogger doesn't know.
If the blogger has had an experience close to an experience that you have had, then write about it to make a connection with the blogger.
Add a question on the end of your comment so you can get a conversation going.
Proofread your comment before you publish it. Always at the beginning of a sentence, use a capital letter, and at the end use punctuation, never use more than one exclamation mark at the end of a sentence, if you want to release your excitement, just add more words also, if you use a pronoun: I, always capitalise it.

The Lethal Ridge Ride

Today I have been focusing on a story that I have already completed named The Ridge. I changed the name of it for my story and I had to write what I thought the man was seeing, here is the link for the video, I advise watching the video before reading my writing.

The Lethal Ridge Ride.

I was sailing across a sea of mirrors, I was going north trying to find the most fatal challenge ever. I had found land and massive bumpy rocks that were almost as tall as Mount. Everest!  The lethal mountains were staring at me like they had a grin on them, but they didn’t, I just had an imaginative mind.

I got my bike out and rode it like I was trying to tame a donkey with two legs!  I rode across rutted rocks like they were keen crystals trying to blitz!  I found two rocks that I had to jump over to get across, of course, I did not fear because I worship challenges.  I jump across the rocks like it was nothing, I ultimately found a trail that wasn’t bumpy, but that lasted for a little amount of time.  

I climbed up the precipitous rocks with my bike, hoping to be a legend, It’s easy jumping up these rocks, I want more challenge and I want it now.  I looked to see how lofty I was above the floor of the earth, I was about 100+ ft above the ground!  I had to carry my bike across a cliffside because I had known that it was going to be unfeasible to jump up all these colossal-like rocks and because there was no clear trail for me to go on.  

Once I was at the top, I had taken a break and stared at the beautiful view.  It looked like there were vanilla icing on the mountains, and the sky had white cotton candy in it.  I stopped staring and rode down the ridge like I was falling from the sky, it was fast, but unstable, something I finally had in mind.  When I got to the bottom I had already gotten really tired out, I had taken a break from biking, because I had been biking all day so I sat down in the sand, wondering what a great time I had.

Buster The Boxer

I have written a narrative about a dog called Buster the Boxer. I have used descriptive words, speech marks, and punctuation. First I had to watch a video about Buster the Boxer, then I had to turn it into words, instead of vision. Here is the link of the video.

Now here is my story, I advise watching the video first.

On a cold, icy, frigid night, I was sitting in the most great room I could ever think of, getting lightheaded because of watching my owner’s little girl jumping on her bed like there was no tomorrow.  She was probably hoping for a trampoline for christmas, she was so excited that I almost fainted.  My owner told her to go to sleep because it was getting too late, she hopped down into bed and fell asleep straight away.  I saw my owner’s husband setting up the trampoline for their daughter, he almost cut himself, but once he was done setting the trampoline up, he headed back inside.

I saw something, I saw a fox come out of a bush, it headed towards the trampoline, it’s companion followed it saying “I - I - I don’t think we should be here, we could be followed.”.

“It’s okay, dude, we won’t be followed, trust me, I am always right, even if we are - wait what is this rubber?  It is so stretchy we can jump on it!”.

“Oh - Okay, dude, wait, this is so much fun!  We should invite other animals to play with us on this hopping machine!”.  They were having so much fun I felt resentful.  “Woah, what are those two Foxes doing?  I wanna join in on it!”.  Said a Badger as it joined in on them.

“Me too!”.  Said a Squirrel and a Hedgehog.

They looked like they were having so much fun, I felt sad because they were poking faces at me and the first fox said, “Haha, that dumb dog is missing out on our furlough.”.

I woke up and saw the girl racing downstairs like a race car in a race.  Her dad opened the sliding door and she seemed shocked to have a trampoline for her first time, I raced her out there, I ran like a cheetah and I bet her to the trampoline before she could go on it.  I jumped high in the air as I felt the wind swaying in my face as I saw the animals watching, the first Fox said “W-why does that dog get to have all the fun?”.  

“Because I am their protector.”.  I said.  The little girl was shocked to see me jumping on the trampoline, she said, “Oh - My - Gosh - HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?”.  I just kept on jumping and jumping, she joined me after a while, then she hugged me and said  “I love you, Buster.”.

We have made it with clay and there is some decoration on it.

I have a slideshow that I have made and it has facts on it aswell as another photo.

I think I have done well and we have done well to make our model.  It took us a lot of time to make and I didn't really check to see if there were any mistakes so if there was then you can comment down below and tell me.  I have really enjoyed making it because Bigfoot is a really good mystery to try and solve.  I have learned a lot about Bigfoot and a lot of facts about the Bigfoot mystery.

Going Beyond The Lines.

It all started with reading letters, and suddenly, our hearts are beating. My heart is racing… Breathe… Breathe… AND  RUUUUN!!!  I feel like I am actually in the war!  I feel like I need to cry!  I hear gun fires, I smell something burning and I’m holding onto my brothers hand to keep safe.  

My tears get in my way and I trip up, my brother and I look back, we see soldiers being shot so we run off into the distance.  We go behind what seems to be a gigantic piece of metal, we look over the gigantic piece of metal and see our grandfather but young!  We need to get over to him so we can hide by him!  My brother and I run towards our grandfather, we hide by him and feel protected.  We’re alarmed that we see people dying and we look in horror, it was like I’m feeling like those dead soldiers, I feel dead.  

A bomb hits us and we fall into a hole, we don’t know what to do next.  I feel pain, all I can taste is dust because it’s flying into my mouth.  We just hold onto each other waiting for help, our grandfather jumps into the hole and holds onto us.  

We seem to be back in reality now, it was so terrifying that my arms were shaking!!!  I knew we never should have read the letter!  Our Grandfather takes the soldier hat off me, he folds the letter and gives it to our grandma who puts it and the soldier hat into the box of war things.  We wait by the door for grandma, we go downstairs and we think about what terrible things we had done.  It felt like we were, beyond the lines.

Cultural Dances

These are cultural performances that we had to practice to show everyone.

The year 5s did the Samoan Sasa, the year 4 and 6 boys did the Maori Super Haka and the year 4 and year 6 girls did Ti Rakau.

They were all dances to our cultures and we are proud to have done them.

We really enjoyed learning about the dances and performing them, we hope you enjoy it aswell, here is the video and some pictures of it.

First to make this we had to read facts from a book and then find facts on the internet to put into our own words.  After that we had to plan what we were going to say so we could actually make a volcano.  After that we had to make our volcano using tinfoil and newspaper.  One of us went to make homemade play dough to put it on, while the other made the shape of it.  When we were finished making the shape, we put the homemade play dough on.  After that we made a script we had to read and we couldn't have done it without Miss Bell and Mrs. Mclachlan.

It was hard to make it and plan everything.

We have worked really hard on it and we hope you enjoy.

My Journey To The Fantasy Land Story

W.A.L.T write a fantasy.

I'm proud of what I have written and I extremely hope you enjoy it because I think it's my greatest writing I have written. I am excited about people reading it because it has a lot of humour in it.

The Amazing Journey To Crazy-land!

Chapter 1:

The mountain dew menace.

So I’m at my friend's new house because they're having a party because it’s their new house.  And all of a sudden… “Eek!  I have to pee!” I run to the bathroom but the door is closed to go to the toilet!  I think I had too much mountain dew.  I shouldn’t have joined that chugging contest!  I open the door squinting my eyes and something has just caught my eye, wait WHAT!? I close the bathroom door and stare at a gleaming golden toilet!  I didn’t know that my friends were that rich!  My mind is telling me to look inside it, so I give it a go.  It.. It… It…. It’s AMAZING!  I see a toilet kingdom realm!  With a king toilet and a queen toilet.  They’re golden and shiny!  They’re sitting on two thrones and there’s an army of mini toilet peasants!  I want to go there!  The water that’s supposed to be in the toilet is a bubble, so it’s possible to jump in.  Well, I guess you could say it’s a “Portal”loo”.  Okay, here we go!  I’m jumping in, 3, 2, 1.

Chapter 2:

Attack of the Portaloo.

All I see is a black darkness with two evil eyes glowing in the darkness.  I get sucked into something that makes me feel like I’m morphing into something.  My arms feel like they’re getting bigger and my legs feel like they’re getting smaller!  My head feels woozy and I feel dizzy!  I see a mirror and all I see inside the mirror is… Is…. Is….. A LLAMA?  I’VE BEEN MORPHED INTO A LLAMA!  I can see inside the mirror that armour is being put on me and I get a spear, I look like a llama soldier.  I’m being sucked into another thing and now I get a hat that is shaped like a banana but it has a feather on top.  I’m getting pulled fast into a portal and my arms have fallen back.  I see a glimpse of a realm that’s different to  our earth.  It’s the one I saw before!  Except… It’s a wool castle with llama guards, there’s posters that say, we need you! For an army to destroy the toilets!  I can see inside a window there is a king llama and a queen llama.  They’re wearing capes and crowns with sparkling jewels on them!

Chapter 3:

Revenge of the public Toilets.

I see walls made of fur, bonfires with toilet flush buttons being burned, Toilets on the walls with dirt on them and words in graffiti written on them.  I see posters, Toilet servants and Llamas cooking potatoes.  It seems like potatoes are Llamas favourite food!  I hear some Llamas chanting

“ALL HAIL POTATOES!  ALL HAIL POTATOES! ALL HAIL POTATOES!”.   I called out

“Yeah! All hail potatoes!” Then I started secretly laughing, because it was funny.  I hear Llamas talking and humans sound like sheep, baby humans sound like they are throwing up and they have diarrhoea at the same time in the human petting zoo.  I smell a disgusting smell, it smells like someone farted (poo wee!)!  My armpits also smell disgusting!  All I taste in my mouth is Llama spit, well that explains why I can’t speak properly like everyone else!  I see another poster saying that they need me so I try to figure out why,  I find my room then I spend the rest of the day trying to figure out what it means.  I remember that when I was coming into this world I saw a poster through the portal that said they need me to destroy the toilets. That feels like a hint for something, but I found out what it meant!  I feel strong! Confident!  Confused! And weirded out.  It is now night time, I dream of getting home as a distant blob of blackness overcomes me. I felt tired, I am falling asleep.

I just wake up, I feel like I’m ready for the day!  (yawn.) Oh never mind.   I hear something crashing and the humans sound like they are crying for escape.  I run into the main room, then into the petting zoo.  I see toilets stealing humans and at the front of the kingdom I see Stars but the Llamas lost 2 stars!  Now less people want to come here!  I’ve only been here for a day but man it smells good here and it’s a good place here!  I’m terrified because the toilets shouldn’t be doing that!  What started the war anyway?  A wise old Llama heard me and he told me to go into his tent.  “OK.” I whispered.  So I walk over to his tent and go into it.   He tells me “If you want to get back to the real world, you would have to take my place and break the king and queen toilet”.  

“Of course I want revenge, but I don’t know if I want to break them.” I said.

“Well you can set us free if you do and it’s the only way you can get home.” Said the wise old Llama.  I wondered what he meant by ‘us’.  Well, It’s the only way to get home, so I have to.

Chapter 4:

The Last Goodbye.

I spend time inventing a wormhole device so I name it the Portaloo gun.  It can teleport anyone  anywhere but you have to be in a portaloo first.  Oh, I forgot to mention it can teleport portaloos anywhere as well!  I secretly go into a portaloo and teleport into the toilet kingdom vault, I summon a giant portaloo and I take all the gems and money.  I teleport back to the Llama kingdom and put all the gems and money in a giant bag, and show it all to the King and Queen, I bow and then tell them I stole it from the Toilet kingdom. They make me the leader of the army and I give them the portaloo device but I deactivate it first so they don’t mess with it.  They tell me that the army will be going out tomorrow so I better be ready.

That morning I woke up early and I decided to go for a work out to get stronger.  I spend 3 hours at the gym and then I walk to the king.  I say “I’m ready to fight!”.

“Okay then.  Go to the military camp and then lead everyone to the Toilet kingdom”. Says the king.

I walk down to the military camp and lead everyone to the Toilet kingdom.  We go inside and I use an invisibility device on everyone, we walk into the king and queen toilets room and I walk up to the queen to use a dagger to break her, next I break the king toilet aswell and I feel a strange light pulling me into the skies.  I get pulled into the Llama kingdom where everyone is waiting for me.  I say goodbye, knowing that I have to leave, there is a magical toilet portal waiting for me, behind me.

Chapter 5:

The Portaloo Strikes Back.

I jump into the magic toilet portal and all I know is that I get pulled into it and my body is in pain morphing back into a human.  I ended it all, I arrive into the real world in my friend's bathroom but the toilet is normal now, I still need to pee!  I quickly go to the toilet and when I finish I quickly wash my hands and head outside of the bathroom, luckily the party is still going on but I go outside and I go home.  

Chapter 6: Return Of The Wise Old Llama.

The next day I go for a walk and wonder if that was all a dream or real, it felt real but it looked like a dream.  I walk near the shops and I see a new store, I wonder what it’s selling.  I walk inside and… … … I SEE THE WISE OLD LLAMA!

W.A.L.T Add Equivalent Fractions

This is my D.L.O about adding equivalent fractions.

This strategy is really cool and can help you solve fractions.  It's easy to figure out what to do once you have the hang of it.  My teacher showed me it and helped me learn how to use the strategy.

The Duathlon

The duathlon is something were we have to either scooter, bike or run.  The duathlon was on Thursday the 30th of march.  We had to run, bike or scooter in the high school court two laps but there were cones put in places that made the course like a zigzag and then we had to run two laps of the school field.  It was only the year 4s, year 5s and year 6s doing two laps.  The duathlon was really fun and I came third in the year 6 boys.  It was pretty challenging though.

My Sculpture

W.A.L.T create an original sculpture using objects around the school.
To make this I had to find items around the school and make them into a sculpture, I also had to think of an idea of what to make my sculpture into so my inspiration was dynamite for the starting bit, angler fish for the second bit and a whip for the last bit of inspiration.

My sculptures name is "The Dynamiting Angler Whip".

It was really fun making this because sometimes I had to change my original idea so it became something that I agreed with.

My Volcano plan For Reading

 This is my plan for making a volcano out of clay.

My volcano will be different to this plan.

I'm going to write the facts on piece of paper then take a video of going around the volcano when It is erupting and I’ll be saying facts at the same time.

This was easy to make because Google drawings is familiar to me and I also enjoyed making this because it was really fun to find the facts to put on my plan. My next step is to make my volcano and write the facts on a piece of paper. I was learning volcano facts to make my plan to make my D.L.O.
